About the JSAO61 Award

Based on the reviews of submitted abstracts to OP, NS, and CE, the final nominees of Award will be selected one from each 6 categories; cardiovascular systems (basic), cardiovascular systems (clinical), Metabolic systems (basic · clinical), Other systems (basic · clinical), field of nursing and allied healthcare professionals, and fields of clinical engineering.

Those 6 finalists will make an oral presentation on the session held on November 9 (Thu.), 2023. The winner of the award, “the Best Presentation Award of JSAO61,” will be determined regarding on the votes by the board of trustees of JSAO, and it will be announced at the social gathering party. For other 5 finalists, the Presentation Award of JSAO61 will be given.

Poster Session for exploratory research

This session is for those who are engaged in such studies that it would be expected to contribute both clinical and academic development on the fields of Artificial Organs in near future.
The abstract should be related to exploratory research by young researchers. Challenging research that is expected to make a high clinical or academic contribution in the near future is expected, although it is not yet complete enough to be considered as a general presentation.

To qualify for this session;

  1. Primary authors must be young doctors, clinical engineers, nurses, medical staffs and students who are member of JSAO and under 30 as of November 9, 2023.
  2. Primary authors submitted the abstracts must be presenting authors.
  3. Primary authors need to attend the poster session.

*If many nominees submitted abstracts, organizing committees conduct pre-reviews, and the abstract will be forwarded for consideration as a general presentation.

At the day of poster session, the Poster Award will be selected, and be presented it at the social gathering party on November 10.

*If your abstract is got the award, you must submit a report to the "Japanese Journal of Artificial Organs"

About COI (Conflict of Interest)

When submitting an abstract, it is necessary for the presenting author to check whether there are conflicts of interest with a company or for-profit group related to the subject of the presentation. If there is a COI, please make a contact to the congress secretariat by e-mail.

Acceptance Results

Notification of the acceptance result, including information on your sessions, will be sent to the email address that was provided during the registration process.
