会長挨拶Greeting
この度、Tokyo-Taipei-Seoul不整脈ジョイントカンファレンス2026 （TTS2026）を2026年7月に京都で開催する運びとなりました。本会は、日本・台湾・韓国の不整脈学における知識と技術の交流・発展を目的に、三地域が持ち回りで開催してきた歴史ある会合です。今回は第72回日本不整脈心電学会学術大会（会長：副島京子先生、八木哲夫先生）のプログラムの一部として実施されます。
It is my great pleasure to announce that the Tokyo-Taipei-Seoul Arrhythmia Joint Conference 2026 (TTS2026) will be held in July 2026 in Kyoto. This academic meeting, hosted in rotation by Japan, Taiwan, and Korea, has long promoted the exchange and advancement of knowledge and techniques in arrhythmia. On this occasion, TTS2026 will be part of the 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Heart Rhythm Society (Chairs: Professors Kyoko Soejima and Tetsuo Yagi).
本会は1998年、台北にてTaipei-Tokyo Arrhythmia Joint Conferenceとして始まり、Shih-Ann Chen先生、平岡昌和先生が両者の代表を務めました。翌1999年には東京で開催され、交流がさらに深まりました。2006年の台北大会からは韓国も加わり、Sung-Song Kim先生、Young-Hoon Kim先生が韓国代表を務め、以後はTaipei-Tokyo-Seoul （TTS） Arrhythmia Joint Conferenceとして開催されました。2008年にはソウルで初開催となり、三地域の交流は大きく発展しました。
The conference began in 1998 in Taipei as the Taipei-Tokyo Arrhythmia Joint Conference, led by Professor Shih-Ann Chen and Professor Masayasu Hiraoka. It was held in Tokyo in 1999, strengthening bilateral collaboration. From 2006 in Taipei, Korea joined the partnership, represented by Professors Sung-Song Kim and Young-Hoon Kim, and the meeting was renamed the Taipei-Tokyo-Seoul (TTS) Arrhythmia Joint Conference. In 2008, the first Seoul meeting marked a significant expansion of trilateral academic exchange.
その後もTTSは継続して行われ、国際的な不整脈診療と研究に寄与してきましたが、2019年金沢大会を最後にCOVID-19の影響で2020年ソウル、2021年台北大会はいずれもWeb開催となりました。2023年札幌大会で現地開催が復活し、多くの皆様が再び対面で交流する機会を得ました。
TTS has since been held annually, contributing greatly to arrhythmia research and clinical practice. However, after the 2019 Kanazawa meeting, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the 2020 Seoul and 2021 Taipei conferences to go online. The long-awaited return to an on-site format came in 2023 in Sapporo, where participants once again shared direct interaction.
不整脈学は大きな進歩を遂げており、アジアから世界に発信すべき知見も豊富です。TTS2026が三地域の友情と学術交流をさらに深める契機となることを願っております。京都にて皆様とお会いできることを楽しみにしております。
We are delighted to hold TTS2026 in Kyoto, a historic city, at a time of remarkable advances in arrhythmia. Asia has much to contribute to global knowledge, and I sincerely hope this meeting will further strengthen friendship and academic collaboration among the three regions. I very much look forward to welcoming you in Kyoto.
